| Lazy Dog's Butter Cake |
Last month, after meeting a few girlfriends for a church event, we decided to get dinner...
I wasn't super hungry, so I decided to have dessert instead. I chose the Butter Cake. It was a like a mini Bundt pound cake served on top of a layer of minted strawberry compote. The cake was buttery, a little crunchy on the outside, and warm and moist on the inside...pure perfection. And to finish it off, a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top! The combination of the warm sweet cake, fruity berries and the ice cream was the ultimate fusion in my mouth.
Sometimes I'm in the mood for dessert only. It's good to know that places like Lazy Dog are close by and can satisfy a sweet tooth!
