Tell Me Something Good

When a friend calls or sends me a text, I love saying these words...

...tell me something good.

It's unexpected. It's different. And if they're having a bad day, it forces them to put a positive spin on any situation and, on the spot, actually come up with something good to tell me.

The other day, a friend texted me out to the blue.

Me: Tell me something good.

Her: You are the best wife and mother and your family is so blessed and lucky to have you.

I didn't expect her response, but I received it, and in that moment, my day got better. Just with those few words.

So the next time you're catching up with a friend or relative, give it try.

Tell me something good!
