Over the years, I've received a lot of mugs from my students...
...and I've kept them all! If I start running out of cupboard space, I may have to give some away.
This got me thinking about re-gifting. How do you feel about it? Getting gifts you know you will never use or wear. Gifts that are just not your style. Do you keep them out of guilt, or do you try to find a new home for them with someone you know will appreciate them and use them more than you ever could?
For the most part, I'm totally game for re-gifting. I can usually find a good home for gifts I know I'll never use. But, if the gift is really sentimental, or if I know the gift-giver really put some time and extra effort into it, I'll keep it.
