Today, one of my students surprised me by giving me this book for teacher appreciation week. She said she'd noticed how much I was talking about this book, one of several featured in our book fair this week, and she wanted to do something special for me...
I was just ranting about teacher appreciation week, and so her generous gesture really made me realize just how thoughtful and sweet some of my students are. Her act of kindness inspired me to purchase two new books (one of which the girls couldn't put down) for my classroom library. These are titles I'm sure my students can enjoy and hopefully get them to share my love of reading!
