The Problem with Dining in a Booth

Classic NY Style Cheesecake at Hi Life Restaurant

Before kid (BK), The Hubs and I used to always sit, side by side, in a booth, having uninterrupted adult conversation, whenever we dined out. That all changed when Buddy Roller came along...

These days, eating out is a little bit different. Buddy Roller never wants to sit by himself, across from us, in a booth.  There's always a choice of who he will sit with, and this choice can take minutes, making me super cranky and impatient especially if I'm starving.

So it finally dawned on me, two days ago, as we were eating out. Duh! Never sit in a booth when it's just the three of us...just sit in separate chairs.  That way no one feels left out...easy solution! The things you think about when raising a family.

Do you have any little issues when dining out with your family?
