Are you witty? Do you have IT (wits) when someone says something really sarcastic to you?

...but wish I did.
I think you're either born with it. Or not. But surely one can learn to be witty. Right? Certainly there must be a class on IT somewhere. Perhaps a really clever person can train me on the ins and outs of being cunningly amusing?
I can't tell you the number of times someone has said something brilliantly amusing to me...only I didn't have an equally brilliant response. Argh.
Is there any hope for me?
